Stud Survives Nail Shot to the Head

Not much changed for Dante Autullo the day he shot himself  in the head with a nail gun.
Now, you would think that one would notice once a 3 and a quarter inch nail had been embedded in their brain, but in fact, it was not until the next morning, when he began to feel nauseous that Autullo even thought to seek medical attention. After viewing the x-ray shown here, Autullo asked if the hospital was playing a  joke. While using his nail gun, he had slipped, sending the nail into his own brain, just millimeters away from the cerebellum, the area of the brain involved with motor skills. Autullo was able to feel the nail graze his head, but as there are no pain receptors in the brain, silly Dante was unable to detect that something had gone seriously wrong. On the way home from the hospital, he even stopped to post his x-rays to Facebook. Autullo underwent a two hour surgical procedure and had a portion of his skull replaced with titanium mesh, but  is expected to make a full recovery.

PS- Mr. Dahlie, I think I really nailed this article. Ha. ..sorry.

Which Baby is Best.

On Saturday, January 7th, power couple Jay Z and Beyonce gave birth to their first child, a healthy baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter.
Carter, named for albums created by her parents (Blue for Blueprint, Jay Z's album franchise, and Ivy as in IV, the Roman numeral for 4, the name of Beyonce's latest album), has been long anticipated by fans of her parents and their music, and doubtless has a long and promising future ahead of her. Musical fans around the world look forward not only to watching little Blue grow up, but how it will affect her parents careers as well. Although Jay Z, age 42, is retired, he continues to make music and exude swagger daily. Beyonce, 3o, is still very active in the music industry, and performed long into her pregnancy. With all her ambition and talent, it is difficult to see becoming a mother as a negative thing for her career. Rather, this will just be another step in her life, and add to her already vivacious and lovable personality. With two award winning parents in the music industry, it seemed inevitable that she would eventually enter show business, and already, she has been featured in her first single, Grace. The song was written by Jay Z as a tribute to his daughter, and features her cries as he expresses the miraculous feeling of bringing new life into the world.
"He is a very protective husband," says Beyonce, "and since we found out I was pregnant I have seen the protective father in him. He is not only an inspirational artist, he is an inspirational husband. I know the next step on his journey is going to be being an inspirational father."
Blue Ivy's birth is going to be a huge step for both parents, but it seems to be a step in the right direction.
